RAWALPINDI, Jul 12 (APP):Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting 5 operations managed to recover 27 kg drugs and arrested 8 accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Friday.

e was recovered from a parcel booked for Australia at a courier office in Islamabad.
20.4 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle intercepted near the bus stand in Rawalpindi and 4 accused were arrested during the operation.
1 kg opium and 2 kg heroin were recovered from the possession of two suspects rounded up on M-1 Motorway Islamabad.
2.4 kg hashish was recovered from an accused netted near Daska in Sialkot.

e was recovered from an accused arrested near Band Road Lahore.
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.
